Greek Lambda Automata has recently announced a major development that will strengthen its position in the defence industry.
Through the acquisition of the Greek company Smart Flying Machines (SFM), Lambda Automata shows its commitment to the development of advanced technologies, which also incorporate Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems.

In particular, the acquisition of SFM is part of Lambda Automata’s strategy to introduce low-cost unmanned systems in various sectors. This development allows Lambda Automata to strengthen its ability to produce advanced technologies based on artificial intelligence (AI) aimed at increasing the security of infrastructure and sensitive areas.
An important role in the acquisition of SFM was played by the technological and engineering experience of the company’s technicians based in Thessaly.
According to a relevant announcement, Lambda Automata expresses its belief that this acquisition will enable the further development and adaptation of its technologies to meet the different requirements of military and non-military missions.
