Yemen | Saudi F-15 fighter shoots down Houthi “Qasef-2K” – VIDEO
A video released yesterday on social media shows the downing of a loitering munition of the Yemeni movement Ansar Allah (Houthi) by an F-15 fighter jet of Saudi Arabia.
The “Qasef-2K” unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia territory.
The Houthis have recently increased the number of their drone strikes in Saudi Arabia. It is alleged that the increase in attacks was to commemorate six years of the Saudi war on Yemen.
The Houthis carried out a major operation, with 12 drones and eight missiles, at four facilities of the Saudi oil company Aramco as well as at the Kind Abdulaziz air base in Dammam.
Saudi forces claim to have repulsed Houthi attacks on its territory, but many have successfully met their goal objectives.
