The Israeli army launched night bombardments against Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip, after a missile was fired from the Palestinian enclave of Isfarin and its militant insurgents.
Shortly after 02:30 (local & Cyprus time), Israeli strikes were made against Hamas positions in the southern Gaza Strip, eyewitnesses told the AFP.
Last night, the Israeli army spoke of launching a missile from the Gaza Strip against Israeli territory, on the day of the parliamentary elections in Israel.
“In response to the missile launch, fighter jets (F-16s) and military helicopters targeted a missile factory and a Hamas military post,” the staff said in a brief statement. Asked about this by the French Agency, a representative of the Israeli army clarified that the missile hit an empty plot in the southern part of Israel.
