The Ministry of Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus has ordered ten (10) new Fast Patrol Vessels from Finnish Kewatec.

Soldiers of the Turkish occupying forces opened fire on Greek-Cypriots civilians resulting in the injury of one person.
Specifically, late this afternoon, three Greeks were driving a vehicle in the Potamia area while, according to initial information, they entered a prohibited hunting area near the green line.
According to initial information, the vehicle went beyond the green line. Then a vehicle of the Turkish occupying army pursued the Cypriot vehicle, forcing it to change course. The Turkish soldiers opened fire on the Cypriot citizens, which led to one person being wounded in the shoulder.
The injured person was taken to Nicosia General Hospital and his condition is not considered critical. The Nicosia CID has taken over the investigation of the case.
