Turkey | Four fishermen die after collision with Greek tanker

According to the information obtained so far from the Greek press, four passengers of the 20-metre-long fishing boat are missing.

A Greek tanker collided with a Turkish fishing boat at 5:50 on Wednesday morning (local time) 37 nautical miles off Mersin.

Four Turkish fishermen have reportedly lost their lives.

This news concerns the Greek-flagged tanker “EPHESOS”, which was carrying 27 crew members.

Thirteen of them were Greeks, while the exact number of passengers on the fishing boat that capsized has not been determined so far.
