Shocking footage depicts the moment when two national guards of the Russian Special Rapid Response Unit (SOBR) were killed during an exercise held near Murmansk.
The two special forces national guards were Vitaly Likhanov, 41, and Sergey Fundament, 47. The incident itself and the factors that led to the fatal accident are being investigated.
Some sources say that the ropes were too short, while others speculate that the ropes had been damaged. Bad weather also played a key role. The video shows one of the national guards falling at a free fall speed, while the other appears to be falling more slowly.
