The Fleet has been reinforced with “Karathanasis” Fast Attack Missile Craft | Photos
The Fleet is being reinforced with a new state-of-the-art strike unit. This is the Fast Attack Missile Craft No. 6 named “Lieutenant Karathanasis” that joined the Fleet during a special ceremony held at the Fast Boat Command in Amfiali, in the presence of the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Panayiotopoulos.

The integration and naming-induction ceremony of the FAMC “KARATHANASIS” was attended by the Chairman of the Standing Parliamentary Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs of the Parliament Mr. Konstantinos Gioulekas, MPs and representatives of the parties, the Metropolitan Alexios of Nicaia, former ministers and relatives of the fallen Heroes of the Navy in Imia.
