The leading international defence and security exhibition will take place from 6-8 May 2025 at the Metropolitan Expo Athens, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of National Defence.
DEFEA 2025 will host 436 exhibitors from 37 countries, 18 national pavilions and 98 official missions from 45 countries, confirming its status as a strategic reference point for the global defence industry.
Leading companies will showcase the latest innovations and technological developments in the fields of defence and security across land, sea, air, cyberspace, and space systems. At DEFEA 2025, cutting-edge weapon systems and technologies that represent the future of security and defence will be on full display.
Helicopters, battle tanks, armoured vehicles, multiple launchers, artillery systems, communication equipment, portable weapons, ammunition of various types and calibers, guided missiles, strategic weapons, and more will be featured.

The “Achilles Shield” — a five-layer, multi-layered defence system — will be a highlight, alongside missile systems and the full range of precision-guided missiles that dominate the modern battlefield. Unmanned platforms (UAVs, USVs, UUVs), autonomous threat response systems, and swarms of unmanned systems will also be exhibited.
Greek participation is significant, with the Ministry of National Defence, the GDDIA, the HNDGS, as well as the Hellenic Police, Fire Brigade, Hellenic Coast Guard, and the Ministry of Development all contributing.
DEFEA 2025 will unveil for the first time, state-of-the-art weapon systems and artificial intelligence applications that offer solutions across all domains of modern operations, with a focus on interoperability and flexibility.
DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens 2025 is one of the leading international platforms for B2B, B2G, and G2G contacts, promoting strategic partnerships while providing a forum for meaningful dialogue on security challenges, European defence strategy, and the new geopolitical reality.
High-ranking EU and NATO officials, as well as representatives of organisations such as: DG DEFIS, EDA, EDF, EDIDP, OCCAR, NSPA, DIANA and HCDI, participate in this year’s event.
Among the 98 confirmed delegations attending DEFEA 2025 are high-ranking representatives from the political and military leadership of many countries. Notably, Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Defence from Armenia, Cyprus, Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Montenegro will be present, along with representatives from the General Directorate of Defence Equipment and Investments of France, Estonia, Saudi Arabia, and 14 other countries.
Additionally, Armed Forces officers from the United States, Ukraine, Egypt, Australia, Italy, Spain, Poland, Israel, Jordan, and others will attend. Defence industry associations from 16 countries, including Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Portugal, and India, will also have a prominent presence.
