From 06:00 on July 2, 2020 until 06:00 on July 4, 2020, the Fire Service responded to 51 calls for fires and many other calls for help throughout the free territory of the Republic.
According to the Press Releases of the Fire Service, due to the high temperatures and winds that develop locally, a “RED ALERT” has been issued for the risk of breakout and spread of fires.
On the following interactive map, you can see the action of the Fire Brigade all over Cyprus according to the announcements of the Service.

The Cyprus Fire Service appeals to the public to avoid actions and activities that may cause fires. In addition, we call on the public to immediately call 112 (Fire Service) or 1407 (Forest Department) in case a fire is noticed.
