Impressive photos of machine guns and anti-tank missiles live fire from T-80U Tanks were released by the National Guard General Staff (GEEF). From January 17-21, 2022, live fire of T-80U tanks, with the use of the 125 mm cannon and 7.62 mm machine gun on ground targets, were carried out by Units of the XX Armored Brigade.
According to the announcement of GEEF, this activity is part of the Brigade’s operational training and was attended by the permanent personnel of the force, the contracted hoplites and the hoplites who were recently enlisted and completed their training. The shots were monitored by the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Democritus Zervakis, who noted the high level of training and morale of the Armored Units personnel.
