SEKPY’s representation at EURONAVAL 2024 showcases Hellenic Defence Industry’s capabilities with a Hellenic Pavilion and a well-attended inaugural ceremony.
SEKPY’s press release:
“The largest International Naval Equipment Exhibition in Europe, EURONAVAL 2024, which takes place from November 4 to 7, 2024, in Paris, France, has opened its doors.
Starting with the dazzling inauguration ceremony of the National Pavilion, which attracted the interest of numerous visitors and industry experts, the Hellenic Defense Industry once again stands out at this premier exhibition, showcasing its innovative products and services focused on security in maritime environments.
SEKPY, the Hellenic Manufacturers of Defense Material Association, with the support of the General Directorate of Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) and under the auspices of the Ministries of Defense, and Maritime and Insular Policy of Greece, leads this endeavor aiming at enhancing the extroversion of the Hellenic Defense Industry and promoting Greek innovation.
Distinguished officials, including Admiral Dimitrios E. Kataras, Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff (A/GEN), Commandant of the Hellenic Coast Guard Vice Admiral HCG Alexandrakis Georgios, Dimitrios Zevelakis, Ambassador of Greece to France, Lieutenant General Ioannis Bouras, General Director of GDAEE, Nikolaos Belias, Economic and Commercial Affairs Counselor, and Air Commodore Konstantinos Karavitis, Defence Attaché, attended the Greek Pavilion’s inaugural ceremony.

The following companies participate in the stand: AKMON SA, ALTUS LSA, B&T COMPOSITES, DEFEA-ROTA SA, DELIAN ALLIANCE INDUSTRIES, ELECTROPNEUMATIC SA, EMMIS MARINE, ETME, FARAD SA, FEAC ENGINEERING, HYDRUS ENGINEERING SA, MEVACO, MILTECH HELLAS, SALAMIS SHIPYARDS, SATWAYS, and SSMART SA.
SEKPY continues to dynamically promote the interests of the Defense sector beyond borders, having already organized national pavilions at some of the most significant international defense and security exhibitions, such as EUROSATORY in France and AUSA in the USA. Additionally, our own DEFEA exhibition in Athens, with SEKPY as a co-organizer, has been established, which is expected to take place from 6th to 8th May 2025.
This year in February, it is worth noting that the DEFEA Conference was held, following the organization of the high-profile event “SHAPING THE FUTURE OF HELLENIC DEFENCE INDUSTRY: Unveiling the Future of Defence with Greek Innovation” in collaboration with the Hellenic Network Argo in Brussels, at the event hall of RESIDENCE PALACE in Brussels, an initiative expected to be repeated in 2025.
SEKPY acts as a supporter in enhancing the extroversion of the defense sector, strengthening networking among Greek companies and international markets, and promoting collaboration and the exchange of expertise. With its support, the Greek defense sector gains greater visibility and presence on the international stage, thus empowering Greece’s position in the field of security and defense.”
