The Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association (E.EN.E.) organised a dedicated event on Artificial Intelligence titled: “Investments in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Greece…

Numerous meetings and signings of Memoranda of Cooperation that expand the international reach and capabilities of Greek defence companies took place at the stand of Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Materiel Association (SEKPY) in the context of the International Defence and Security Exhibition DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens.
A delegation from the Department of Outreach Planning and Coordination of Outreach Agencies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited and held a working meeting at the SEKPY stand, where it was informed by the Board of Directors about the possibilities of Greek companies. The purpose of the delegation is to contribute through specific actions to the strengthening of the extroversion of Greek companies in the immediate future.
A very important Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the German defence company Diehl in the presence of the German Ambassador Mr. Andrea Kindle and representatives of the respective association BDSV. The aim is for the German company to expand the cooperation it already has with Greek companies and others for the construction of the IRIS-T missile system.
Another important memorandum of cooperation was signed with the corresponding Association of the Czech Republic AOBP in order to facilitate the cooperation of the defence companies of the two countries.
Finally, the newly formed defence cluster DefencEduNet recommended by SEKPY and the Universities of Northern Greece signed with the Ernst&Young Memorandum of Cooperation in order to help with its experience and networking in the partnership of companies with university institutions and also in external collaborations with research centers.
