On the final day of DEFEA 2025, the Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Materiel Association (SEKPY) successfully hosted a pivotal parallel event titled “EDF & Funded Projects Helpdesk Platform”, held in Conference Room C2.
The session provided targeted information and practical guidance for Greek defence and security stakeholders interested in participating in upcoming calls under the European Defence Fund (EDF) and other EU-funded programmes.
This special session marked a strategic effort by SEKPY to empower Greek companies with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively access and utilise EU funding instruments. Acting as a practical support mechanism, the Helpdesk Platform is designed to assist companies in navigating the complexities of collaborative research, development, and innovation projects within the EU defence framework.
Through this initiative, SEKPY – working in close cooperation with Ernst & Young – continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to enhancing Greece’s presence in European defence industrial cooperation. The Helpdesk aims to strengthen proposal preparation, build competitive consortia, and foster deeper integration of Greek firms into Europe’s evolving defence ecosystem.
The platform’s technical development was entrusted to C.D Multimedia Services, a Cypriot company specialised in defence marketing, whose contribution ensures an effective and user-oriented interface tailored to industry needs.
SEKPY’s session during DEFEA 2025 reaffirmed the Association’s role not only as a key enabler of national defence industrial growth, but also as a proactive bridge to European partnerships and opportunities.
