At least three Katyusha rockets were fired at the Green Zone in Baghdad in an attack targeting the US embassy, according to Iraqi security sources.
The sirens sounded while the anti-missile system of the American embassy was activated, repelling one of the rockets. There were no casualties. The well-fortified Green Zone of the Iraqi capital is home to government buildings and diplomatic missions.
