The German company RWS has introduced specialised Urban Drone Defence (UDD) machine-gun cartridges designed to counter drones.
RENK Group AG and IDV, a company of Iveco Group N.V., have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at evaluating the potential of RENK and IDV drive technologies for future combat platforms.
According to a relevant announcement, this cooperation agreement is an important step enabling both parties to actively contribute to accelerating the tracked vehicle programs for their customers.
The agreement also addresses the need to strengthen the European supply chain and increase production capacity.
The aim of the agreement is to share the know-how and experience of both parties in the development and manufacturing of powertrain solutions, technologies and equipment.
RENK is one of the largest suppliers of drive and propulsion systems for both military and civilian vehicles in the world, and IDV specializes in vehicles for military as well as civil protection purposes.
