Graduation ceremony of the 7th class of female Professional Soldiers | Photos

The graduation ceremony of the female Professional Soldiers (SYOP) of the 7th class took place today at the “Sergeant Eumenios Panagiotou” Camp in Limassol, in the presence of the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Democritus Zervakis. The SYOP women, after passing the Basic Training at Limassol Training Center, were placed in Units of the National Guard in which they will be presented after the completion of Fighter School.

In his Agenda, the Chief welcomed them to the military family and spoke of the great honor and responsibility they have taken on by serving their homeland, calling on them to do their utmost to meet the high expectations of the people of Cyprus. He noted that as of today, they are part of the Professional Soldiers successful institution, which has given new momentum and perspective to the National Guard.

Concluding, Lieutenant General Zervakis urged them to be ready to meet the new professional challenge, work with determination, composure and modesty, while constantly improving their skills through continuous training.
