“O ALITHINOS LOGOS” | The show “Church and the Armed Forces of Cyprus” launches today
The Radio Station of the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus, entitled “O ALITHINOS LOGOS”, launches today a new show entitled “Church and the Armed Forces of Cyprus”.
The general coordinator of the show will be the Director of the Religion-related-issues Directorate of the National Guard General Staff, Archpriest Konstantinos Christodoulou, and the producer is the Theologian Marios Kassianidis.
The show will be broadcast nationwide every Tuesday, between 15:00 and 16:00. The same show will be re-broadcast every Sunday at the same time. You can listen to the show from Nicosia on frequency 93.3, in Limassol and Paphos on frequency 101.1 and in Larnaca on frequency 90.5.
The new show aims to highlight the relations of the Armed Forces with the Church. The topic of discussion will be social issues, ethno-religious issues and everything else that concerns young people. The show will address all the staff of the National Guard and the Hellenic Force in Cyprus (ELDYK), but also the general public, which will have the chance to participate live in the show at a later stage.

The first live show will be broadcast today and the first topic of the show will be “The Historical Retrospective of the Religious Service in the Armed Forces of Cyprus”. The next 3 shows will discuss topics such as military service, addictions, marriage and family.
