The Oath Ceremony of Female Professional Soldiers of Class 11 took place on Friday, February 4, 2022. 

The ceremony took place at the “Sergeant Eumenios Panagiotou” Camp in Limassol, in the presence of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Annita Dimitriou, the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Democritus Zervakis, and the Commander of the 3rd Support Brigade, Brigadier Giannakis Pantelidis. The Female Professional Soldiers, having completed their Basic Training at the Limassol Training Centre, were placed in National Guard Units, where they will attend their specialty training.

In his greeting, the Chief welcomed the new Professional Soldiers to the military family and referred to the great honor and responsibility they undertook by putting themselves in the service of the Homeland. At the same time, he called on them to devote their power so as to meet the training requirements as well as the high expectations of both the National Guard and the people of Cyprus. In conclusion, he urged them to be ready to meet the new professional challenge, working with determination, composure and modesty, constantly improving their skills through continuous training, proud of their choice to join the ranks of the National Guard.
