According to information obtained by the aforesaid, a total of twenty-two (22) Senior and High-rank Officers are retiring after today’s Cabinet meeting, paving the way for dozens of future promotions of Officers serving in the National Guard.

Specifically, the Cabinet approved the proposal of the Supreme Crisis Council for the retirement of one (1) Major General, seven (7) Brigadiers, and fourteen (14) Colonels. The positions of the retired Officers will be respectively filled by those deemed eligible for all ranks in the next few days.

It is noted that the Supreme Crisis Council proceeded to implement the provisions of article 38 of the relevant Regulations for the Retirement of Officers and the provision on the Successful Completion of Service, taking into account the careers and advancement prospects of other officials in the hierarchy.
