National Guard | 60 new Isuzu D-Max Double Cab 4X4 vehicles

The Ministry of Defence announced the signing of an agreement for the purchase of 60 new double cab vehicles. Following the recent procurement of 60 Ford Ranger Double Cab XLs, the National Guard is proceeding with the procurement of 60 new Isuzu D-Max Double Cab 4X4s.

The Isuzu D-Max Double Cab 4X4 has a 1.9 dCi diesel engine (163 hp), a maximum torque of 360 Nm and a 6-speed gearbox. Furthermore, it features, among others, an autonomous emergency braking system (AEB), an idle stop system (ISS) to save fuel, a traction control system (TCS) and a lane departure warning system (LDW). 

The agreement concerns the purchase of 60 four-wheel drive vehicles and their maintenance for 5 years or at 100,000 km. The agreement is worth €1,773,600 (plus VAT) and it was signed by Director General Mr. Andreas Loukas, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, and by Mr. Giannos Loutsios, on behalf of A.LOUTSIOS & SONS LTD.
