The Ministry of Justice and Public Order of the Republic of Cyprus has ordered ten (10) new Fast Patrol Vessels from Finnish Kewatec.

The decision for the recruitment of 250 border guards, who will staff Services in Evros, was signed by the Minister of Citizen Protection, Takis Theodorikakos, and the Deputy Minister of Citizen Protection, Eleftherios Oikonomou.
Following the publication of the decision, the relevant announcement is expected to be issued next week by the Hellenic Police Headquarters, while the entire recruitment and training process will be completed at the beginning of next year, reports APA MPA.
