Five years after imposing restrictions on arms exports to Turkey, Norway has decided to accept Ankara’s arms applications.
The Japanese Air Force announced today that the body of the second pilot of the F-15 fighter jet that crashed in the Sea of Japan in late January has been found, the day after the first pilot’s body identification.
The two-seater Japanese fighter crashed into the sea shortly after taking off from Komatsu Air Base in Isikawa Prefecture (central) for a training mission.
The first body was recovered on Friday and yesterday Sunday it was announced that it was officially identified as that of one of the two pilots. Yesterday, it was also announced that the second body was found.
The Staff did not disclose the names of the two pilots of the fighter. The Japanese Ministry of Defence did not order the suspension of F-15 flights after the accident, the causes of which are not yet known.
