Iran’s Tasnim news agency has released information and photos from the trials of the new Sayyad 4B missile. The Sayyad 4B missile was paired with the domestic Bavar-373 air defence system. The trial took place on Sunday, November 6 and, according to Iranian media, was successfully carried out on a target at a distance of 300 km.
The system’s radar located the target at a distance greater than 450 km. Following this trial, the range of the detection radar of the Bavar 373 has increased from 350 km to 450 km, the range of the tracking radar has increased from 260 km to 400 km, while the range of missiles of the Iranian air defence system has been extended to 300 km and their engagement height has increased from 27 km to 32 km.
