March 8 has been established as International Women’s Day. 

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Democritus Zervakis, and the personnel of the Armed Forces, sent their wishes to the women of the National Guard, acknowledging their contribution to the Armed Forces of our country. 

For his part, the Minister of Defence, Mr. Charalambos Petridis, states in a post that women play a key role in achieving the mission of the National Guard.
