On Friday, April 29, 2022 and in the framework of the planning of HNDGS regarding the international collaborations of the Greek Armed Forces, a joint PASSEX (Passing Exercise) of the ADRIAS Frigate was conducted with the USS JASON DUNHAM of the USA (USS HARRY S. TRUMAN Carrier Strike Group – HSTCSG) in the wider Ionian Sea region.
The joint training focused on the composition and exchange of tactical image, communications and advanced maneuvers, while an Air Defence Exercise (ADEX) was conducted with the participation of 2 F-4s.
This joint training took place in the framework of the updated Greece-US Mutual Defence Cooperation Agreement, contributing to the promotion of the level of operational readiness, combat capability and cooperation of the participants in a bilateral and allied framework.
