HNDGS | Joint training of Hellenic Navy Units and Hellenic Air Force Aircraft with the Indian Navy

In the context of the international cooperation of the Hellenic Armed Forces in accordance with the planning of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), on Saturday, July 16, 2022, a joint PASSEX (Passing Exercise) was conducted with the participation of Frigate ‘ELLI’ and Frigate ‘INS TARKASH’ of the Indian Navy. The said exercise was held in the wider sea area west of Crete.
According to an HNDGS announcement, during the joint training, communications, composition, and exchange of tactical images, progressive maneuvers, and anti-aircraft warfare (Air Defense Exercise – ADEX) were carried out with the participation of 2 F-16s of the Hellenic Air Force.
This joint training contributed to advancing the level of operational readiness, combat capability, and cooperation of the participants.
