On Monday, 12 May 2025, a ceremony was held at the 112th Combat Wing (112PM) at Elefsina Air Base to mark the reception of the new Beechcraft King Air 360C aircraft. The delivery is part of an ongoing donation by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, aimed at enhancing the air transport capabilities of the National Emergency Centre (EKAB).

The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (GEA), the President of EKAB, the Minister of Health, and other representatives of the military and political leadership.

According to GEA, the new aircraft—fully equipped for medical missions—will bolster the existing fleet, also donated by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. This fleet includes two Beechcraft King Air B350C aircraft and two AgustaWestland 109 Trekker helicopters. The Hellenic Air Force is responsible for operating the aircraft, with the aim of maximising their operational use in service of the public.
