From Monday 9th to Friday 20th May 2022, the Medium-Scale Multinational Air Exercise “NATO Tiger Meet 2022” is being held at the 116th Combat Wing/Araxos Air Base.
According to an announcement by HAF, the purpose of the Exercise is to provide high-quality operational training in the spirit of “Train as you fight”, thus improving the skills and cooperation of participants in conducting complex operations.
The Exercise will be conducted across the Athens FIR, with the participation of a large number of Air Forces from Greece as well as from Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, and NATO. Austria, Germany, the USA, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Poland are participating with observers, personnel, and means, along with the Hellenic Army and Navy forces.
