Theon International Plc (THEON) has announced the next step in its €10 million investment plan, initially unveiled in October 2024, which concerns the development of new products to be integrated on operational platforms.
The Hellenic Aerospace, Security & Defence Industries Group (HASDIG) participated in yet another event of outstanding importance for the defence and security industry sector.
This was the GSOF Symposium Europe 2025, one of the most prominent international institutional events dedicated to Special Operations Forces (SOF), successfully held in Athens from 7 to 9 October 2025.
Since 2016, the GSOF Symposium Europe has been organised annually in a different European city, combining a conference and defence exhibition. It provides a high-level international forum for presenting technological and operational developments in the field of Special Operations Forces.
At the same time, the event offers significant opportunities for international networking, facilitating the development of future operational capabilities, the exchange of know-how between institutional and industrial stakeholders, and the establishment of strategic partnerships.
The active participation of HASDIG in such a high-profile international event—with over 750 participants from 30 countries and the presence of 70 global defence industries—further strengthens the international visibility of the Greek defence industry.
Moreover, HASDIG’s participation in the GSOF Symposium Europe 2025 promotes collaboration with institutional and business partners while showcasing the capabilities and expertise of Greek companies in the Special Operations domain.
Eight member companies of HASDIG took part in the exhibition, namely: DELIAN ALLIANCE INDUSTRIES, ELMON, INTRACOM DEFENSE, QUALCO GROUP, SAS TECHNOLOGY, SCYTALYS, THEON SENSORS, and UCANDRONE.
These companies presented their technological solutions, products, and proposals to international participants, highlighting the capacity, innovation, and specialisation of the Greek defence industry in the Special Operations sector.
As stated by Mr. Dimitrios Skaleas, President of HASDIG:
“HASDIG actively participates in the GSOF Symposium Europe 2025, hosted this year in Athens, showcasing the innovation and technological capabilities of the Greek defence industry in the field of Special Forces.
The Group’s presence in this prestigious event enhances international networking, fosters cooperation with strategic partners, and contributes significantly to the promotion and exploitation of innovative technologies and solutions capable of addressing the complex challenges of the future.”
