On Friday 3/2/2023, the inaugural meeting of the “Grypas” Program was held at the facilities of the Hellenic Aviation Industry in Tanagra, which concerns the design and industrial production of a second, more complex unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
The meeting on this new Program, which utilizes the consistent course of work and the know-how acquired from the “Archytas” Program, was attended by scientists and their collaborators from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Patras, the Democritus University of Thrace and the University of Thessaly as well as the relevant HAI personnel.
The meeting was successfully held and created positive expectations for the timely and successful completion of the project.
The synergy of the “Grypas” Program among so many agencies demonstrates the exceptional level of cooperation between academic institutions, the Hellenic Aviation Industry and the State. The program is considered to be something that will reinforce this positive result.
The first phase of the “Grypas” Program is due to be completed within the next two years, that is, by 2025.
