A total of 54 people who refused to get vaccinated are no longer members of the Hellenic Fire Service.
The deadline given by the Greek authorities expired at the end of July, while a special resolution for the mandatory vaccination of those serving in the Disaster Response Special Units was adopted by the Council of State.
All 54 people who refused to get vaccinated will be transferred to other public services.
