Five years after imposing restrictions on arms exports to Turkey, Norway has decided to accept Ankara’s arms applications.
Two Rafale fighter jets (Rafale C and Rafale B) collided mid-air in northeastern France during a training mission and crashed on the ground.
One of the pilots has been found and is safe, Defense Minister Sebastian Lecorny said in a post on X.
The French Air Force reported that two pilots were on one plane and one on the other. The pilot who was flying the fighter alone has been located.
The search for the crew of the other aircraft is ongoing.
The collision happened in Colombia-le-Bel, a town in northeastern France, according to the prefecture. The two aircraft came from Saint-Dizier air base, Lecorny said.
