The Hellenic Defence Industry establishes a strong presence within the framework of the EUROSATORY international exhibition in Paris with the unprecedented organization of a National Hellenic Pavilion by the Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Materiel Association (SEKPY) with the support of Enterprise Greece.
During the second day of the exhibition, an impressive opening ceremony was held in the presence of distinguished guests, the importance of which lies in the fact that Greek companies have attended for the first time this important exhibition as a ‘single force’.
The event was coordinated by Mrs. Eva Attart, member of the Board of Directors of SEKPY, who initially gave the floor to the President of SEKPY, Mr. Anastasios Rozolis, who welcomed all those present and stressed the goals of the Association.
Mr. Rozolis was followed by Mrs. Maira Myrogianni, General Secretary of International Economic Relations and Outreach of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representative of Enterprise Greece, who emphasized the importance of such national efforts in increasing the extroversion of domestic industrial capital.
Afterwards, Mr. Dimitrios Zevelakis, Ambassador of Greece in Paris praised the effort of SEKPY, whereas Major General Ioannis Bouras, Director General of the General Directorate of Defence Investments and Armaments (GDIAA), emphasized that the Hellenic Defence Industry is a pillar of the Armed Forces’ effort to carry out their mission.
The ribbon cutting of the pavilion opening took place once the speeches were completed, while guests enjoyed drinks and snacks offered on behalf of the Association.
