Erdogan strikes again | “That is why you will get to know the crazy Turks”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke about provocative statements by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, reiterating Ankara’s firm rhetoric about the Aegean islands.
In a speech to his party’s parliamentary group, Erdogan said: “I made a statement that Mitsotakis and I can reach an agreement. I made this statement and I saw that Mitsotakis was provoking me. We said that the consultation meetings – the exploratory contacts – should start and they started last week in Dolmabahce. The second meeting would take place in Athens. Mitsotakis provoked me. How will we reach an agreement when you provoke me? You must first know your limits. If you really want peace, do not provoke me. Know your limits. If you do not know your limits, it means that you were the one who upended the table. We did not. And if this goes on, we cannot sit at the table with you.”
Continuing, following his minister, Hulusi Akar, Erdogan stated: “It is clear what you have done on the islands. What do you rely on? Do you still think that you will get help? Do you rely on that? If you have such an impression, you are wrong. Regardless of such help, you should know that Turkey is in its place and knows where and what it can do, what it should do.”
Addressing Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Erdogan said he wanted to “remind him of something”. Specifically, he noted: “You ‘relied’ on some mountains but in those mountains it snowed. You have no benefit. But we do everything ourselves. And so we continue. That is why you will get to know the crazy Turks.”
Finally, regarding the Cyprus problem, Erdogan reiterated that “from now on there is no other way out in Cyprus except the two-state solution. Whether you accept it or not. The federation solution is no longer an option. “
