SECURITY

As part of the implementation of Commission Recommendation (EU) 2017/1584 of 13 September 2017 on coordinated response to large-scale cybersecurity incidents and crises, the DSA actively participates in the relevant working groups for its implementation. The DSA has appointed representative to the newly established CyCLONe – Cyber Crisis Liaison Officers Network, with the aim of effective and timely response to emergency situations in the event of large-scale cross-border cyber incidents and crises at the national or European level.
The CyCLONe network is creating links between the technical level (e.g. CSIRT-CY) and the strategic / political levels (Ministerial Committees), which will be activated depending on the extent and seriousness of any incidents or crises, for effective crisis management and return to normal levels of operation.
It is noted that the DSA participated in the pan-European operational level exercise Blue OLEx 2020, which took place in September 2020, as well as in the CyCLOs (Cyber Crisis Liaison Officers) coordination meeting on 2/12/20.
