On Friday, June 25, 2021, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) General Konstantinos Floros, met with the President of the Association of Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Material (SEKPY) Mr. Anastasios Rozoli, the President of ROTA S.A Mr. George Tsaousoglou, and the Exhibition Manager Mr. Vassilis Barkas (ROTA S.A).
During the meeting, which was held in a very warm atmosphere in the General’s office, issues of mutual interest were discussed with emphasis on the upcoming Defence Exhibition DEFEA 2021. The exhibition, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence, will be held in Athens from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 July 2021.

The Chief of Defence (CHOD) referred, among other things, to the importance of organizing such a high level of defence material exhibitions, which highlight and promote the country’s potential both in organizational level as well as the defence industry. Through DEFEA an exchange of know-how and information on current developments in this field will occur as well as the promotion of the training and operational potential of the Armed Forces.
It is recalled that for the first time Cyprus will participate in a Defence Industry exhibition with a national pavilion under the auspices of the Ministry of Defence. You can find out more at the link below:
