Once again, the residents of Limassol and Paphos will live moments they lived last March.

Following the announcements of the Minister of Health for the new measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, yesterday Thursday 11/11, the Cyprus Police and the National Guard have prepared a surveillance plan for the cities of Limassol and Paphos.

According to the spokesman of the Police, Christos Andreou, speaking on the show “Mera Mesimeri” and Nikitas Kyriakou, the action plan of the Police aims at the compliance of the citizens with the decrees and not with the complaints.

As Mr. Andreou mentioned, the National Guard will also assist in the work of the Police, something that was also applied during the previous lockdown, for the supervision of the measures.

At the areas where the degrees will be implemented, that is, in Limassol and Paphos, there will be 9 checkpoints on a Pancyprian basis where streets will be blocked.
