In a post, the Cyprus Fire Service states that in October & November the trainers of the Special Rescues of the Catastrophe Response Special Unit participated in Rope Rescue Operator/Technician Course and Rope Rescue Operator Instructor Courses. The said training activities were provided by Rescue3 Europe trainers in Cyprus. The Fire Service has released photographs from the said training.
EMAK officers attended special training in rope descents to carry out rescue missions in difficult conditions at high altitudes, both in mountainous and urban areas. The photos depicting the rescuers descenting with the injured on the stretcher prove the professionalism of the Catastrophe Response Special Unit and its substantial offer to society.
