A serious traffic accident took place a while ago on the Nicosia – Limassol highway near Agia Varvara.
According to information from OMEGA, a non-commissioned officer of the National Guard lost control of his military vehicle and, under circumstances that are being investigated, fell off the bridge located at the scene.
An ambulance rushed to the scene to transport the injured to the hospital.
According to initial information, the non-commissioned officer’s injury is considered quite serious.
