BREAKING | 34-year-old paratrooper succumbed to his injuries

The 34-year-old paratrooper, who had been missing since last night, succumbed to his injuries during a night free fall operation.

The incident happened on the night of Thursday 03/08, at the paratroopers’ firing range in Megara, when the 34-year-old paratrooper was found seriously injured in the early morning hours when he was transported to 401 with serious injuries.

The announcement of General Staff of National Defence is as follows:

The General Staff of National Defence announces that, on the night of 3 to 4 September 2020, Sergeant K.M., of the Interdisciplinary Special Operations Command, was fatally injured during a night free fall operation.

The General Staff of National Defence expresses its heartfelt condolences to his family.

The causes and circumstances of the accident are properly investigated.

DEFENCE ReDEFiNED expresses its condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased.
