The US Army and BAE Systems finalized modification of a contract worth more than $440 million to produce additional Bradley armored fighting vehicles.
The said contract includes the production of more than 200 A4 version vehicles. The order will be given to the US Army with the aim of replacing some of the Bradley vehicles that the US government has given to Ukraine with more advanced models.
According to the company, the Bradley A4 version will provide a significant operational advantage to the US Army’s Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) formations, offering critical next-generation capabilities.
It is a proven system in the Ukrainian theater of operations, enhancing battlefield performance to meet a variety of mission requirements in various combat situations.

Designed with increased survivability and commonality to reduce logistical complexity, the Bradley A4 features digitized vetronics for optimal situational awareness as well as network-centric capabilities.
Production and support work for the Bradley A4 is conducted across BAE Systems’ industrial network, including Aiken, South Carolina, Anniston, Alabama, Minneapolis, Minnesota, San Jose, California, Sterling Heights, Michigan, and York, Pennsylvania.
