Ministry of Defence | Positions allocation in Higher Military Educational Institutions and Higher Military Academies of Non-Commissioned Officers of Greece for the academic year 2022-2023

The Ministry of Defence announces that the candidates taking the Pancyprian Examinations to secure a position in the Higher Military Educational Institutions and the Higher Military Academies of Non-Commissioned Officers of Greece for the academic year 2022-2023 must submit the following to the Ministry of Defence:  

  1. a) Copy of the application / digital participation form in the Pancyprian Examinations of the Examinations Service of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Youth.
  2. b) Certified photocopy of their Cypriot identity card, in which the Cypriot citizenship is stated. The ID can be certified only by the District Administrations and the Citizen Service Centers.
  3. c) Recent certified photocopy (not more than one month) of the Hoplites’ Individual File or a Certificate from the Unit they serve or, in case the candidates have fulfilled their military obligations, an Original Type “A” Certificate issued by the Military Offices.
  4. d) Original and recent (with a date of issue not more than one month from the date of the application submission) Certificate of Clear Criminal Record by the Police.
  5. The above certificates can be submitted or sent to the Ministry of Defence (Postal Code 1432 Nicosia) until March 30, 2022, at the latest, between 08:00-14:30. It is emphasized that each candidate must submit the above-supporting documents to the Ministry of Defence in a timely manner. Otherwise, the Ministry will exclude his/her candidacy for participation in the process of applying for a position in a Military Academy.
  6. The allocation of positions by the Academy is presented in the attached Annex.
  7. Please note that no personal letters will be sent.
