A new wave of illegal immigrants arrived in the area of Kato Pyrgos, Tillyria early today.
According to the Police, before 05:00 in the morning, 21 illegal immigrants of Arab origin were located in the area of Kato Pyrgos, Tillyria. These are men who were taken to the Kato Pyrgos, Tillyria police station to verify their identities.
It was previously noticed in the sea area that a boat was moving and heading towards the occupied areas.
Police are examining whether the boat is connected with the arrival of illegal immigrants in the area of Kato Pyrgos, Tillyria.
The investigation continues while after the immigrants’ details are verified, they are expected to be transferred to a reception centre.
