The Ministry of Defence announces that the process of electronic submission of conscripts’ choices and certificates will be applied this year as well. The conscripts are supposed to submit these on the day of their classification in the Training Centres (KEN).

The electronic platform will be activated on May 7, 2021 and will enable the conscripts to submit – quickly, safely and without the need of physical presence – all the required certificates on the basis of which the scoring, weapons and corps selection as well as their placement in Units will take place.

The details registration is mandatory.

It is emphasized that those recruits who do not submit their choices and relevant certificates on the platform of the Ministry of Defence within the set deadline, their choices will not be able to be taken into account during the electronic selection process and they will be placed in Units based exclusively on the service needs of the National Guard.

For this purpose, the Ministry of Defence informs in a timely manner and invites all conscripts of 2021 Class to provide all the necessary documents as soon as possible  for their own convenience.

Certificates for classification according to the status of each conscript will be submitted only once in digital format (preferred PDF format). These certificates are as follows:

  • Identity card (both sides)
  • IBAN Certificate ONLY if the conscript holds an account in his name (this certificate can be presented on the classification day).
  • Driver’s license (Not student license, applicable for those who have one)

For the placement of conscripts – newly recruited national guards, any social, family or other problems they are experiencing are taken into account. Depending on the nature and severity of the problems, a number of points are allocated to the conscripts as follows:

In case a conscript falls into more than one of the above categories, as well as in the event of death of one of the conscript’s parents or disability of both of his parents, his points are cumulatively calculated.

According to article 38 of the National Guard Law, brothers who simultaneously serve in the Armed Forces, fulfill their service in the guard of their choice and in the same Unit and camp.

Subject to what’s specified above, those enlisted are credited with 10 points:

  1. If they submit their data via the electronic platform.

It is understood that these points are also credited to conscripts who were not given the opportunity to submit their data electronically.

  1. If they attend the examination at the District Health Committees that will be held before the classification.

It is noted that the originals or the certified copies of the certificates that will be submitted on the electronic platform for scoring purposes must also be submitted for verification on the classification day.
