SignalGeneriX announced its participation as a technology provider and Research and Development partner in the newly-funded PASITHEA EDF2022 project. 

The project that received 4M euro funding under the SME call aims to develop a Hybrid Autonomous Unmanned Vehicle (HAUV) combining Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and Unmanned Underwater Vehicle technologies.

According to the project, the vehicles in question will be able to fly, hover in the air and sail underwater as well as to repeat air-water trans-media motions. The HAUV will be able to be launched, operated, and controlled by land, sea, and air platforms and units. The project also includes the design of a Command, Control, Communication, and Intelligence system.

PASITHEA consortium, which is coordinated by BALance Technology Consulting GmbH, includes the following organizations from Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Portugal, and Romania: Maresco Ltd, SignalGeneriX Ltd, National Technical University of Athens, INOV, “Henri Coanda” Air Force Academy of Romania, Beia Consult International, Fundación Andaluza para el Desarrollo Aeroespacial and ProteMarine Ltd.

SignalGeneriX Ltd continues its successful participation in the European Defence Fund strengthening the Cyprus Defence Industry capabilities.
